Dear Family, Partners and Friends,

The temperature in Southern California is beginniing to spike and this means only one thing: head south of the equator to the nation of Brazil.

I will be leaving for the state of Rio in early June, excited to again be with friends and a generation who is hungry to know more abpout Jesus. It will be a fast paced two weeks with 2-3 services per day. It is exciting because I will be releasing more Youthbytes in Portuguese!

Our latest Youthbyte release “Traps” is scheduled to be released this summer. Yes, that is an actual bear trap

In February we began filming another Youtbyte episode entitled “Traps.” This is a piece that I have long wanted to create and we have stepped out to do it. Working with every sort of trap know to man, we discuss the traps that the enemeny sets for us and how we can, in Christ, see our lives set free in all areas.

Cambodia 2 discs set entitled “The Call” is in production and almost completed.

In November of last year we traveled to the nation of Cambodia and filmed an episode of Youthbytes that has been 10 years in the making. Having traveled to Cambodia for many years, I have had numerous ideas about using this nation as a back drop to share about the call of God on peoples lives. For two weeks we worked in oppressive heat and conditions that reminded me of a sauna, to create a tool that will provoke an honest response in the hearts of young and old concerning the plan that God has for each of us. As we put the finishngi touches on this episode I ask that you please continute to keep not only our outreaches in prayer, but our production schedule as well. We have a very limited staff in the production arena, 2 to be excact, and the amount of work and ideas that are generated and produced can only be acconplished by nothing less than a miracle from heaven, your prayers ensure we meet the dealines as they become clear. HOME SWEET HOME

The family is all doing well. As winter ends and summer approaches ,there is a change of activities for all of us. In july it will mark 6 years of our transition to California. Even though we have some of the most liuberl agun laws in the countrywe have aclimated to the desert climate., we have enjoyed making our home here.

Shay is as active as ever, being a mom and wife to me and two active boys keeps at the top of her game 24/7. She has recently begun to volunteer at the Children’s Assesment Center in San Bernardino county and is enjoying her interaction with children in need.

Max will be 15 this summer and is involved in music, water polo and skateboarding. He has had opportunities to lead worship at two different churches in town and it is great to see his gift begin to develop and mature on many levels.

Rhett is as active as any 12 year old should be. With soccer, snowboarding and school, he is constantly on the go.

Brazil is still at the forefront of our outreaches; we have the opportunity to travel back the state of Rio and participate in a series of monthly events during the 2013 calendar year. Should these plans finalize, we will have the opportunity to speak to hundreds of thousands of teens all over the nation. We are also releasing our 4th and final box of “Jovembytes” this year.
