Aracaju

I just returned from Aracaju, Brazil where I had the privilege of speaking at The Revolution Conference, hosted by my friend, Pastor Daren Wray. It has been a joy working with him and his church family for the past three years. These events were a testimony of God’s heart to see a generation impacted by the Gospel. I opened the event teaching on the power of a seed in our lives. The simple truth of God’s Word provoked an altar call that was explosive, breaking even the hardest hearts before Him. Young and old came forward, weeping, believing that God could make all things new if they responded in faith. Each service was a time for salvation, freedom, and deliverance. On the first night of the service, I made a bold declaration in faith that there was someone in the service who had given up on God’s grace and that that they told God, “If you don’t speak to me tonight, I’m done with you and the church.” Without fail, a lonely broken man ran forward weeping as he embraced me. Only Jesus has the power to draw men unto Himself and dispense the mercy needed.

"Without fail, a lonely broken man ran forward weeping as he embraced me."

As with all of our trips, we always take full advantage of any opportunity to speak about the value of life. These meetings are called “Life Events”, or anti-suicide campaigns. This event was different in that we had an invitation from a secular school to come and expose what has been happening in the lives of teens around the nation. I gave my 20-minute traditional “non-religious” presentation, explained who I was, what I do internationally, and described the Sea of Trees documentary we created in Japan many years ago. After I spoke, I presented the 15-minute version of the video, and that is when things got very spiritual. As with every other time that the video is played, the atmosphere changed drastically. The power and anointing on that video have the God-given ability to speak life to those who are considering suicide and to those who have lost someone to the act. For 15 minutes, unchurched teens sat silently as the video communicated the message of life in a way that at times defies explanation. I took the stage and began to take questions. A young girl began to weep as she stood and described the pain she felt about a friend who was struggling with thoughts of suicide. She felt helpless and had no one to talk to. As she spoke, the headmaster interrupted her declaring "you are not alone and we will always be here for you, all of us, the teachers and staff, will not let you walk through this alone."

As it is with everything I put my hand to, nothing gets done without you! Your friendship, your prayers, and your support continues to have a tangible impact in the nations!

THANK YOU!
